I have the strangest issue.
I'll try to connect to a server, that I could connect to yesterday, but it stops at the stage "Connecting…" and it doesn't seem to get through it.
Unfortuanetly, I cannot provide you much more information, I haven't made any changes to mangler options since it has been running just fine.
Thanks for your replies.

This probably means it cant' create the TCP connection to the server. Did your server owner pay the bill?

Yes, other people using ventrilo client can use the server.

Try to telnet to the port number for the server. From a shell:
telnet your.server.hostname XXXX
(where XXXX is the port number)
If you see "Connected" then it should work fine. Otherwise, something is blocking that port.

clearscreen said:
Try connecting on wifi.
considering that he's posting on the linux forums and not the android forums, i don't think that's an issue.

Trying to telnet yielded the following outcome :
Trying 89.149.241.193…
Connected to vent79.light-speed.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
So I assume I can connect, but Mangler cannot use the port ?
I haven't changed any settings since, neither have I got my firewall set up. Any other way I could find out what the problem is ?
