Submitted a bug using 'ubuntu-bug xinput'.  I am using Microsoft gaming mouse after upgrading from my Logitech.  Both are *wired* USB mice.  The PTT button will become set, but pressing the button does not activate xmit/mic.  

 

Select Mouse: ImPS/2 Generic Wheel Mouse.

I also have the Virtual Core XTEST Pointer available to select, but if changed and apply/ok'd, it doesnt actually change/set when I re-load Settings.

 

Ubuntu x64 10.10
