Any update on OSS4 support? I don't want to install that pulse crap back on my system and ALSA is a no go for me (I can redirect ALSA calls to OSS4, but mic support doesn't work correctly).

Ok, I worked with one of the OSS4 developers and implemented OSS4 support. I need help (and direction) on getting this implemented in Mangler for everyone else's use (my coding skills are very new). Can someone please point me in the right direction and preferably guide/help me through the process?

We've read your thread on the OSS forums.
Actually, I've just set up a virtual machine just to test out OSSv4 and maybe will be reading up on the documentation.

Well, I have working code based on the 759 revision trunk code. I just made patches for all the files. The code could probably use some polishing, but it works great for me. Do you want me to upload it to ticket #129 (OSS4 ticket)?

Files are uploaded as 1 compressed file … let me know if you want them as separate patch files. Also, we were wondering if there was a reason why you went with AFMT_S16_LE instead of AFMT_S16_NE.
