How to install?  i downloaded the mangler-1.2.2.tarbz2 now what?

You can….

 

Follow the instructions on the BUILDING page of Mangler.org (./configure   make    make install)

 

Go to http://packages.ubuntu.com and search for Mangler in Oneiric.  Download and install the prebuilt binary for Oneiric that should work on earlier releases.

 

Find a PPA with a Mangler package.
