Hi guys. I'm using Mangler on OpenSuse 64bit with alsa and i have this problem: Every time i use "push to talk" i have this error
ALSA lib pcm.c:7315:(snd_pcm_set_params) Channels count (1) not available for CAPTURE: Invalid argument
snd_pcm_set_params() failed: Invalid argument.
Of course noone can hear me. Other than that i can hear everyone else and dont have problems except i cant speak. I'm sure the problem is not in configuration because i use the same alsa devices in skype and mumble and dont have a problem with that. Also if it matters the ventrilo server is using codec speex 32khz. Any idea is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Try using "Default" in the input device combo box as that uses dmix. Device selection doesn't work for me.

Tryed first that with no luck. Anyway i get an idea about using plughw just few mins ago. Used Alsa(again)+ default setting for everything except input, which i set to "Custom" and typed plughw:0,0 Now it works perfect :D Case closed :)
