First, my release info..

Problem: Mangler won't start.  I installed mangler using apt.  (apt-get install mangler).  Everyting went well, and the install said it was complete.  The launcher icon showed up in the "Internet" section of my KDE menu too.  so far, so good.  However, when I try to launch it, all I get is a box on my Task Manager that says "Mangler", and shows that it is loading.

After a few minutes, this appears to time out and go away.  However, I see a "Mangeler" job running with an assigned PID.  (names removed for confidentiality)

Any thoughts on why there is no app window that pops?

update on this after registering and reading a post on bug tracker about this problem apparently if your not useing pulse audio then remove pkg libpulse-dev recompile and it works after that. So that tells me that 1.2.2 looks for pulseaudio and if its not there then it will not launch. But thats not the case in Kubuntu 11.04 yeah i just verified it i do have that pkg installed on 11.04 thats on my notebook.
