Hello. I think it's not bad to write here:) i have a problem with mangler and cyrillic. CP1251 set… but problem with OSD. With english usernames all ok, but not show cyrillic usernames.

This is probably because libxosd does not support the Cyrillic character set. Unfortunately, I don't think this is something that we can fix as this is a problem in libxosd. However, it's possible that it's simply the font that is the problem.. but I'm not sure. If any Russian/Baltic programmers want to take a look at it, I'd certainly appreciate it.

hmmm… i try using osd_cat. with cirillic text in utf8 all ok, but in cp1251 it's not work. maybe in mangler xosd out string in character set, which set for server? and maybe it be simple to recode from character set of server to which set in system? or something like that.

if you can see Cyrillic text in xosd at all, that means it's a problem in mangler. Can you open a ticket in trac (http://mangler.org/trac) for this? Include any info/testing/debugging that you've done so far.
