I'm having trouble connecting to ventrilo servers. Technically, I'm unable to use any clients (Ventrilo/Windows or Mangler/Linux) from any of my machines, so I'm assuming it's not a Mangler bug. But I'm unable to figure it out and thought you guys might be able to help…. here's the debug data and packet trace: http://pastebin.com/qJJmBSBz. Mangler version 1.2.1 on Ubuntu 10.10. Can anyone suggest anything?

By the way, the symptom in the GUI is that it just hangs on "Connecting…". The info I'm supplying is good (verified with a few web sites that test vent servers), and I've triple checked the password (but in this case, supplying the correct and the wrong one has the same result). I've also tried connecting to some third party test servers available from some vent hosts, and same symptom.

Got it. Seems I had to allow port 6100 UDP, in addition to whatever port the vent server is on. For some reason, that just wasn't clear from anything I read.

Port 6100 UDP is used by the Ventrilo call-home "feature" to check the license. Access to this port is mandatory for any Ventrilo client.
