Hello,
Running Sabayon 6 linux with e17 and Xfce.
After logging onto a server I am able to hear others, as they can me, but I cannot change channels. Nothing happens when I double click on another channel. However, I am able to double click on a user, and bring up their menu. Also, clicking on the "Disconnect" button does nothing.
I do not get any errors when i run it in terminal..
Thanks ahead of time..

I am having a similar problem with my setup. Running Mangler 1.2.2 on Gentoo linux 64bit kernel 3.2.1-r2 (connecting to an other Gentoo box running Ventrilo 3.0.3 server)
I can connect to my server without a problem but I can actually join a channel maybe 1 time out of 30. So I keep closing mangler and retrying a couple of times and somehow, I can join the channel at some point and it works A1 from there.
I have the same "can't disconnect" issue when the channel cannot be joined and the following error message is shown in the console :
"libventrilo3: 18:24:57.659028: select failed: Interrupted system call"
I have friends running Windows connecting to the same server and never had any issues. I didin't had any problem and I think at version 1.2.0 and switching to kernel 3.x.x, the problems started. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Could you enable packet logging (you can do so from the settings menu) and pastebin a log of when this failed?

This is all you get? Did you try to change channels at all? It doesn't look like it even tried to issue a channel change request, so it may be a problem in the UI (assuming you attempted the change).
As for the gentoo guy, it's gentoo, there's no telling what's wrong with a gentoo system. If select() is failing, you have serious problems. Maybe emerge something or add a USE flag… I dunno. make -j 256? Bug prometheanfire on IRC… he likes that ricer stuff.

It seems to be a weird bug with my setup. I can run mangler through gdb without this issue. I'll investigate in that direction and post back the fix.
