I only registerd to the forum for the simple reason that I felt an unstoppable urge to thank you for this wonderful gift.

This is no kiss-ass crap, I've been looking for a Ventrilo client alternative on Ubuntu for years and I never stopped searching.

Until today. For the moment I only made a test using some free Ventrilo server on the net but so far it looks excelent.

Now I can get along with my desire to play GuildWars with my friends and talk to them, without switching to Windows.

Not to mention I am a big Linux-on-the-desktop fan and this is a small step forward.

I do hope that a Mangler-server will come up soon too (In times of trouble I run my own Vent server on Windows.
It would be just wonderful to be able to setup such a server on Linux too since I struggled to set up a Vent one with no success)

Any plans ? ;-)

As for Ubuntu, well, I wish Mangler would be available on the official repos. The sooner the better.
